RAW Wrestling provides wrestling instruction to youths. Using the Long Term Athlete Development plan for Wrestling as a basis, we provide classes with a mixure of wrestling, gymnastics and conditioning that will provide a great base for learning more advanced skills, in all sports, as the athlete ages.
No practice tonight as school closed for PD day.

Don't forget.... Any time school is closed or there is no school, practice is cancelled.

National C Official licence
Submitted by sdbanks on Fri, 2011-08-26 12:27Congratulation to Phil Lanthier who has gained his national C officials licence at the upgrading tournament in New Brunswick.
2011 - Junior National Championships
Submitted by sdbanks on Fri, 2011-08-26 12:26Phil Lanthier from the Raw Wrestling Club in Charlottetown won a silver medal in the Greco-Roman junior men 120 kg category.
Morgan Ellis was also participating in these nationals.
2011 - Cadet/Juvenielle wrestling National championships

RAW athletes competed at the 2011 Cadet/Juvenielle wrestling National championships in Windsor, Ontario.
Hillary Jones, the lightest Wrestler at the Nationals took home a gold medal for her efforts in the 38 KG cadet class.
Lorena Ellis won a Silver in the Women 60Kg cadet class.
PEI was 5th in Cadet Girls Provincial points with 10.
This result is another example of the strong season the RAW wrestling member is having.
Summer Training
Submitted by sdbanks on Wed, 2011-06-15 15:01RAW has partnered with the SPA in order to provide summer wrestling to its wrestlers interested in making the 2013 Canada Games.
In order to take advantage of this offer, wrestlers will have to purchase a summer membership to the SPA for $140.00. This gives them full access to the SPA including the swimming pool.
